999 It's Time was born from the desire for change felt by a small group of individuals, but which now resonates with an increasing number of people, from all walks of life. Our goal is for 999 It's Time to represent that desire for change expressed by an ever-expanding global movement.
999 It’s Time was conceived by the writer Rory Spowers, co-founder of The Web of Hope, a UK registered charity specialising in environmental education. Working in collaboration with sustainable & conscious events specialists Events4Change, the core team helping to make the 999 movement a reality includes PR, Marketing and Fundraising experts, as well as musicians, writers, artists and activists. Why 999?
Beyond being just a date in time, 999 It’s Time has a deeper significance, from a numerological perspective and as a vehicle for change.
As the great American anthropologist Margaret Mead once observed: ‘Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.'
999 – a numerological perspective:
In numerology, 999 is the point of transformation, an inverted 666, the moment at which we shift a crisis in the direction of an opportunity.
