21st Century Leaders is a unique charity artwork project. We gather artworks from leaders in all fields - each donates a symbol of hope, a self portrait and a message of hope for the future. These artworks are used to create Whatever It Takes products: 'merchandise with a meaning'. Each product is ethically produced and sold to raise funds for charitable causes chosen by each contributing leader.

Local Exchange Trading Systems (LETS) also known as LETSystems are local, non-profit exchange networks in which goods and services can be traded without the need for printed currency. In some places, e.g. Toronto, the scheme has been called the Local Employment and Trading System.

LETSlink UK is the lead body supporting Local Exchange Trading Systems nationally. We represent LETS in the media, to the government and national organisations. We organise UK conferences, training and seminars, advice, networking, and the development of new forms of LETS for health services, food producers, local authorities and 'third' sector' community economic initiatives.

The Natural Step is an international not-for-profit organisation dedicated to education, advisory work & research in sustainable development. Since 1989, we have worked with thousands of corporations, municipalities, academic institutions and not-for-profit organisations that have proven that moving strategically toward sustainability leads to new opportunities, reduced costs, & reduced ecological & social impacts.

It's taken 60 years to get to World Fair Trade Day 2009. It's vital that it doesn't take another 60 years to correct the imbalance in trade that leaves millions of people living in poverty with the threat of climate change and a financial crisis hanging over us all. Events have included Fair Trade breakfasts, talks, markets, performances, fashion shows, carnivals, festivals, & protests.
